The channel's 1/4" depth and 1" width accommodates a 3/8" diameter bolt head, leaving plenty of room to tighten the bolt with a socket wrench. Kingclip is the hanging system preferred by many sign makers/installers and was featured in an article in SignCraft Magazine in the June 2005 issue.
